Welcome to Kathryn Zawislak Therapy and Associates! My name is Kathryn Zawislak and I am the group practice owner and supervisor of 17 therapist in our Puyallup offices. We use an integrative approach to pull from Cognitive Behavioral Theory (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), amongst others. Each patient is unique so we use a variety of styles to meet them where they are. We are honored to walk alongside patients and take a collaborative approach to determine what is best for you. We currently work with individuals (6+) for a wide range of concerns. Our specialties are adolescents experiencing depression anxiety or trauma related issues. Additionally we specialize in working with students to help them navigate peer relationships, academic struggles, discover their strengths and places they get stuck, career goals, and providing hope for their futures.
